Liability waivers for businesses

Waivers signed before they arrive.

Send your own waiver PDF to everyone who is booked in. Each person signs their own copy on their own phone, nobody sees anyone else’s name, and every signed copy is certified and fingerprinted so that you can prove afterwards exactly what was signed.

  • Nothing for participants to install
  • No account for the person signing
  • Certified PDF, verifiable by anyone

Who uses it

Anywhere people sign before they take part.

If your front desk is a clipboard and a biro on a busy Saturday, this is the same thing without the clipboard, the typing up afterwards, or the box of paper you have to keep for years.

Gyms and studios

A membership waiver on joining, and a fresh one each season. Keep it as a template and send it in one go.

Climbing walls and trampoline parks

Every visitor signs before they come in, on their own phone in the queue, or at home the night before.

Tours and adventure operators

Send the release with the booking confirmation. Reminders go out by themselves until it is signed.

Camps, clubs and schools

One permission form to a whole list of parents. Each one signs only their own, and sees nobody else.

Events and races

Hundreds of entrants in one send, with a spreadsheet back at the end showing who signed and when.

Contractors and hire

Damage waivers, safety briefings and hire agreements, each with its own certified copy and history.

How it works

Your waiver, your wording, signed in four steps.

We do not write your waiver and we do not change it. You bring the PDF your lawyer approved; it is stored exactly as you uploaded it, byte for byte, and every signature is added on top of that original.

  1. 1

    Upload your waiver PDF

Up to 25 MB. It is kept as it is; nothing is rewritten, reformatted or re-flowed.

  2. 2

    Mark the places once

Drag boxes for the signature, the name, the date and any tick boxes, including pick one of these. Save it as a template and you never do this again.

  3. 3

    Send it to everybody

Paste a list of names and emails, or import a spreadsheet. Everyone gets their own private link. You can also copy the links and send them yourself.

  4. 4

    Collect certified copies

Each person signs on their phone. You get their certified PDF with a certificate page, a full history, and a spreadsheet of who signed and when.

What you get

Built for a list of people, not for one contract.

One waiver, up to 300 participants

A batch is a single waiver sent to a whole list, and each person signs a separate copy. Batches of up to 300 people, and you can add a late arrival afterwards.

Nobody sees anybody else

In a batch, a participant sees their own copy and nothing more: not another name, not another signature, not even how many others there are.

Signed on any phone

They draw with a finger, type their name in a handwriting style, or photograph a signature on paper. No app, no account, no password.

Reminders that stop by themselves

Choose a reminder every few days for people who have not signed. Never more than three times, so nobody is pestered.

Spreadsheet in, spreadsheet out

Import your booking list as a CSV, export who signed and when. Every exported cell is neutralised, so a name typed by a stranger cannot run as a formula.

A certified copy you can prove

When signing finishes, one certified PDF is built and stored with its SHA-256 fingerprint, and served unchanged for ever after. A certificate page records who signed, when, and from which network address.

Anyone can check a copy

Open Verify a waiver and choose a file. The check happens in the browser: the file is never uploaded, only its fingerprint is looked up.

Sign one yourself, free

Quick sign fills in a PDF in your browser and never uploads it. Free, unlimited, no account, whatever plan you are on.

Pricing

By the year, by how many waivers.

One price a year for a band of waivers. No seats, no per-signature fee, no card on file, nothing to cancel by telephone. A waiver counts once, when it is sent for signature, and the band is counted over the last 12 months.

Five cents a waiver at the top of the band.

Every band gets the same certified files, the same verification and the same privacy. A full band never stops a waiver that is already out: it can still be signed, certified and downloaded. It only stops new ones from being sent.

Privacy

Other people’s names, kept no longer than you need them.

A waiver is somebody’s name, their signature and the day they signed. That is exactly the kind of thing a business ends up keeping in a drawer for a decade. Here it has an end date.

  • Automatic deletion. Choose 30 days to two years after everyone has signed, and completed waivers go by themselves, with their signatures, links and certified copies.
  • Always warned first. Nothing is deleted without the owner being warned a week ahead, and the warning is recorded, so it holds even if the email never arrives.
  • Backups follow within 30 days. Deleted is deleted: the nightly off-site copy ages out too.
  • No tracking, no ads, no third-party anything. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no outside fonts. The person signing is given no cookie at all.
  • Links stay out of logs. The secret part of a signing link is never sent to the server as part of an address, so it cannot appear in an access log or a Referer header.
  • Delete the lot. One button deletes your account with every waiver, signature, link and certified copy in it.

Questions

The ones a business asks first.

Does the person signing need an account?

No. They open their own link, read the waiver, sign, and are done. No app, no password, no cookie.

Can a parent sign for a child?

Yes. Send the link to the parent and mark the fields for the details you need: their name, the child’s name, the date, and any tick boxes. Whatever your waiver asks for, you place a field for.

What happens when we reach the end of a band?

You cannot send new waivers until the year frees up or you move up a band. Everything already sent carries on exactly as before: people sign, certified copies are built, downloads and verification keep working. A band never strands a participant halfway.

And if we stop paying?

The account drops back to the free band by itself. Nothing is deleted, nothing already collected is locked away, and every certified copy you hold stays verifiable.

Is an electronic signature valid for a waiver?

Each person is shown what they are signing, agrees to sign electronically before they sign, and that consent is recorded with the time and the version of the disclosure. See Electronic signatures. Whether your waiver is enforceable is a question for your own lawyer; we make sure you can prove what was signed, by whom and when.

Can I prove a copy has not been altered?

Yes. The certified copy is fingerprinted with SHA-256 when it is built and never rebuilt. Open Verify a waiver, choose the file, and it either matches or it does not.

Put the clipboard down.
